Having invested myself in East Asian Economics and International Studies, I have found that education leads to a desire to move abroad and live the experience that cannot be gained from a textbook. These pages are a record of sorts of the travels that I have had within the United States and abroad (Korea). I have attempted to post these photos in the format of a Photo Blog rather than a true Photo Gallery.
As you will soon be able to see, I am a very reluctant tourist and am much happier living where I am with a camera in my bag. I try as often as I can to catch people in natural 'living' shots that are not posed. Having a subject unaware that the photo is being taken at that moment usually gives me the feeling that I want to capture. Another aspect of these photos is that they themselves themselves, while dear to me in the qualities and the stories they convey, are by no means professional, and are not Photoshopped, touched up, or otherwise enhanced. I hope then that these photos and stories of my experiences will be at times entertaining, at times enlightening, and always inspirational to those who want to see and do more.
